Niño Josele (born Juan José Heredia in 1974 in Almería) is a spanish guitarist, descending from a long family of spanish `tocaores´.
In 1996 he won the Young Talents Award of the Sevilla Biennial. |

He has worked with big figures of flamenco like Paco de Lucía, Enrique Morente, Diego el Cigala, Duquende or Montse Cortés, and also backed other artists such as Lennny Kravitz, Alicia Keys, Joan Manuel Serrat or Elton John with his guitar.
Coming from a flamenco background, his interest in contemporanean classic music and dodecaphony of Schoenberg have proved him to be one of the most versatile musicians. |

Previous releases of Niño Josele are `Calle Ancha´(1994),
`Niño Josele´(2003) and `Paz´(2006).
In 2009, after `La venta del alma´, Josele will be debuting music from his upcoming CD `Española´, (produced by the spanish film director Fernando Trueba), in the Village Vanguard of New York.
He will be appearing six nights: Tuesday October 20
to Sunday Oct 25.
